Company Description VOICEHOUSE supports young people and adults in rediscovering their passion for singing through accessible, engaging vocal coaching. We offer in-studio and online singing lessons. Focussing on creating a welcoming, qualified setting where singers of all levels can grow in confidence, skill, and enjoyment.
Role Description This in office Vocal / Singing Coach role is based at VOICEHOUSE in Adelaide, SA.
Vocal
Coaches deliver one-on-one to 12 years of age and up learners, focusing on vocal technique, performance skills, and confidence-building. Day-to-day tasks include planning tailored lesson content, demonstrating vocal exercises, providing constructive feedback, and tracking learner progress.
Vocal
Coaches also help learners prepare repertoire, may assist with online resources or occasional events,
and collaborate with the team to maintain a positive studio environment and consistent teaching standards.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in music and performance, with the ability to explain musical concepts clearly.
Advanced singing skills, including technique, breath control, tone production, and performance coaching.
Prior teaching, coaching, or mentoring experience in music or performing arts.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a supportive and inclusive coaching style.
Ability to plan structured lessons, manage time effectively, and maintain accurate learner records.
Relevant training or qualifications in music, voice, or performing arts; formal certifications are an asset but not mandatory.
