Role Description This is a full-time, in office Veterinarian role based at Kwinana Veterinary Hospital in Kwinana Beach, WA. The Veterinarian will perform clinical examinations, diagnose and treat a variety of medical and surgical conditions in companion animals, and provide preventative care including vaccinations, parasite control, and wellness checks.

Day-to-day responsibilities include managing consultations, interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, performing routine and elective surgeries, and maintaining clear medical records. The role also involves communicating treatment plans, educating clients on animal health and behavior,



collaborating with veterinary nurses and support staff, and contributing to a positive, respectful team culture.

Qualifications
Relevant veterinary degree (e.g., BVSc or DVM) and eligibility for registration to practice veterinary medicine in Western Australia.
Clinical skills in small animal medicine, surgery, and anesthesia, with sound diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain clinical findings and treatment options clearly and empathetically to clients.
Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care and adherence to qualified and ethical standards.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, manage time well in a busy clinical environment, and adapt to changing priorities.
Willingness to participate in ongoing career development and stay current with advances in veterinary science and best practices.
Experience in a general practice or community-based veterinary setting is beneficial but newly qualified veterinarians are encouraged to apply.
