Technical Superintendent - ETV - Queensland, Australia.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Superintendent to support the safe and efficient technical operation of a specialist towage fleet.

The role is suited to a qualified Marine Engineer with previous ETV (Emergency Towing Vessel) experience and robust technical management expertise.

Key Responsibilities
Manage the technical performance and maintenance of assigned vessels.
Oversee planned maintenance, repairs, dry-docking and technical projects.
Ensure compliance with Class, Flag, ISM and regulatory requirements.
Conduct vessel inspections and attend vessels as required.
Liaise with Masters, Chief Engineers, Class, contractors and shipyards.
Manage technical budgets, procurement and maintenance expenditure.




Provide technical support and troubleshooting during operational issues.
Travel to vessels and Papua New Guinea (PNG) as required.

Requirements
Marine Engineering qualification.
Previous experience as a Marine Engineer with shore-based technical management experience.
ETV experience is essential.
Solid knowledge of vessel maintenance, machinery and marine regulations.
Positive communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to relocate to Cairns, Queensland and travel to PNG .
Australian working rights or eligibility to obtain them.
