The Senior Financial Accountant will play a critical role in financial reporting, month-end processes, audit coordination, compliance, and continuous improvement across a diverse hospitality and leisure portfolio.

Description
Lead month-end close activities and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Manage balance sheet reconciliations and maintain integrity of the general ledger.
Coordinate year-end processes and act as a key contact for external auditors.
Oversee ATO compliance requirements across the PLG business.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across reporting, reconciliations, controls, and system integrations.
Review and strengthen financial policies, procedures, and venue cash controls.
Support budgeting, forecasting,



variance analysis, and financial insights for senior stakeholders.
Build strong relationships with venue management, operational teams, and finance stakeholders.

Profile
CA/PA qualified with a degree in Accounting.
5+ years' experience in accounting or finance.
Strong technical accounting and financial reporting skills.
Experience with audits, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Advanced Excel skills and robust systems capability.
Ability to analyse financial data, identify trends, and provide meaningful recommendations.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
