About the role

As Service Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of the service and lead our team to deliver high-quality education and care.

Key responsibilities
Leading, supporting and mentoring the educator team
Managing daily service operations, staffing and rostering
Ensuring compliance with the National Quality Framework, National Regulations and service policies
Supporting the development and delivery of engaging, child-led programmes
Maintaining a strong culture of child safety and wellbeing
Building positive relationships with children, families, schools and the wider community
Supporting enrolments, family communication and general administration
Monitoring service practices and contributing to continuous improvement
Coordinating before school, after school and vacation care operations
Managing incidents, risk assessments and workplace health and safety requirements

About you
Is a confident, approachable and supportive leader
Has experience working in OSHC, education or an early childhood setting
Can build a positive and accountable team culture
Has solid organisational and time-management skills




Communicates professionally with children, families, educators and stakeholders
Understands the National Quality Framework and compliance requirements
Values children's voices and can support meaningful, play-based programming
Can remain calm, make sound decisions and manage competing priorities
Is motivated to help a growing service continue to develop and succeed
Must hold, or be willing to obtain: An ACECQA-approved qualification suitable for the role, a current Working with Children Check, current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications, current child protection training, a current unrestricted driver's licence, the ability to meet the requirements of a Responsible Person and/or Nominated Supervisor, and the right to work in Australia
