Security Officer | Westfield Southland

Trident Services Australia is seeking a professional and licensed Full time Security Officer to join our team at Westfield Southland. This role offers a stable, set roster and the opportunity to play an important part in maintaining a safe, welcoming, and customer-focused retail environment.

Roster:

Week 1: Mon, Tue, Sat, Sun | 19:00 – 07:00 Week 2: Wed, Thu, Fri | 19:00 – 07:00

What you’ll be doing:
Delivering skilled, approachable front-line customer service
Responding to incidents including medical, emergency, and security-related events
Conducting patrols and monitoring centre activity to identify safety risks
Reporting hazards, incidents, and suspicious behaviour
Supporting centre operations through crowd management and de-escalation
Assisting with emergency procedures, alarms, and evacuation protocols

What you’ll need:
Current VIC Private Security Individual Operator Licence (Security Guard)
Crowd Controller and monitoring endorsement
Valid First Aid and CPR certification
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset




Ability to work a set full-time roster (night shift)
High standard of personal presentation and professionalism
Reliability and a proactive approach to safety and service
