Our Radiation Therapists are an integral part of a collaborative clinical team dedicated to delivering safe, precise and patient-centred superficial radiation therapy. As a part of a multidisciplinary team supporting patients through their treatment journey, you will work with advanced radiation therapy technology to make a meaningful difference to patients living with skin cancer.
Key responsibilities
Deliver protected, high-quality radiation therapy treatments and assist with treatment planning/checking
Apply your clinical knowledge and radiation therapy skills to provide personalised, patient-centred care
Build and/or expand your expertise in superficial radiation therapy, treatment planning and clinical practice with support from experienced practitioners
Work collaboratively within a supportive multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, accurate and effective patient care
About you
Current AHPRA radiation therapist registration
Adequate professional indemnity insurance as required by AHPRA
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a multidisciplinary team
Strong clinical knowledge and attention to patient safety
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Robust organisational and time-management skills
High attention to detail and accurate documentation
Ability to identify problems, troubleshoot and escalate appropriately
Confidence working with clinical technology and treatment planning systems
Commitment to evidence-based practice and clinical governance
