Our client is a Software Development House that focuses on providing bespoke solutions. They are looking for someone with strong .Net programming skills and that can help work on legacy systems in order to make way for them to modernise their platform.

This is a permanent role based in Parramatta (parking nearby) and close to the train station. The role is hybrid working 3 days in the office and has a market-competitive salary. You will get to work closely with the CTO, learn and be exposed to more opportunities.

The tech stack consists of .Net, C#, HTML, JavaScript, VBScript/ASP.Net, SQL Server and you will need some experience with Cursor AI.

Key Responsibilities
Stakeholder Engagement: Translate product requirements into scalable technical solution
Debugging & Programming: Diagnose and resolve issues across the codebase
Code Quality: Apply SOLID principles, write tests, and participate in code reviews
Data & Performance Optimisation:



Improve SQL Server performance, including query and index tuning
Feature Delivery: Design and implement new platform features
Solution Architecture: Design new modules and refactor legacy components

Requirements
5+ years’ experience in.NET development
Experience with Cursor AI and Claude Code is nice to have
Strong experience with .Net 8 Framework Legacy ASP Web Forms
Expert-level SQL tuning and database design
Comfortable working with .aspx pages, jQuery, JavaScript, and raw SQL
Excellent documentation skills and confident verbal/written communication
