About the role

You will be responsible for providing professional grooming services while ensuring every dog receives protected, gentle and attentive care.

Key responsibilities
Full grooming, clipping and styling for a variety of dog breeds
Bathing, blow-drying, brushing and de-shedding
Nail trimming, ear cleaning and general coat care
Assessing coat and skin condition before grooming
Discussing grooming requirements with customers
Providing recommendations based on the dog's breed, coat condition and lifestyle
Maintaining a clean, hygienic and organised grooming area
Cleaning and sanitising grooming equipment between appointments
Handling dogs safely and calmly throughout the grooming process
Monitoring dogs for signs of stress or discomfort

About you
Previous professional dog grooming experience
Confident completing full grooms independently
Good knowledge of different breeds, coat types and grooming techniques
Strong animal handling skills
Patient,



gentle and comfortable working with dogs of different sizes and temperaments
Reliable, responsible and punctual
Positive communication and customer service skills
Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
