Working as part of the site maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining, fault-finding and repairing electrical equipment across a busy manufacturing facility. This is a full-time shift maintenance role at a manufacturing facility on the Central Coast, NSW, operating on a 4-week rotating lifestyle roster consisting of both 12-hour day and night shifts, with multiple consecutive rostered days off.
Key responsibilities
Electrical breakdown response and fault finding
Preventative and scheduled maintenance
Maintenance of industrial machinery and production equipment
Motors, contactors, motor control and associated equipment
VSD fault finding and replacement
Sensors, switches and instrumentation
Control circuits and industrial electrical systems
Basic PLC fault finding and diagnostics
Electrical isolations and LOTO
Electrical installation and modification works
About you
Current NSW Electrical Licence – Essential
Current Australian driver's licence
Previous industrial electrical experience
Robust electrical fault-finding skills
Experience working within manufacturing, processing or production environments
Experience with motors, VSDs, control circuits and industrial machinery
PLC fault-finding experience highly regarded
Ability to diagnose breakdowns efficiently and work under pressure
Solid understanding of electrical isolation and LOTO procedures
Positive communication skills and the ability to work within a maintenance team
