About Appliance Mates & The Role

Appliance Mates provides premium, quick-turnaround appliance replacement solutions for property managers and customers across Brisbane. We are currently seeking a reliable, licensed Junior Electrician for a consistent part time role.

This position is highly focused: you will not be undertaking complex residential wiring or commercial fit-outs. Instead, your core focus will be the delivery, changeover, and hardwiring/plug-in of household kitchen and laundry goods.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver, professionally install, and test appliances including Ovens, Cooktops, Range Hoods, Dishwashers, Washing Machines, and Hot Water Heat Pumps.
Safely remove, transport, and ensure the eco-friendly disposal of old units from customer properties.
Perform minor handyman tasks essential for seamless installations, such as cabinetry adjustments and secure unit mounting.

What You Bring
Valid Australian Electrical Licence: Essential for legal, hardwired appliance connections (e.g., ovens,



cooktops).
Driving Capability: A valid driver's licence with a clean driving record and confidence navigating local job sites.
Physical Fitness: Strong capability for heavy manual handling, as you will be lifting and maneuvering large white goods daily.
Practical Problem Solving: Confident handyman skills to handle on-the-spot installation adjustments.
Professionalism: A friendly demeanor and excellent communication skills to interact positively with tenants and property managers.
