Key Responsibilities
Direct the daily operations of the ICT Department, analysing workflow, establishing priorities, developing standards and setting deadlines
Be responsible for the maintenance and security of all ICT facilities
Provide for network management and ensure network operations, including performance monitoring
Develop, recommend and document plans, policy, standards, procedures and checklists
Strategically plan for, and manage technology assets and control operation budget and expenditures
Work in collaboration with College leadership to source, implement and action ICT strategies to enhance and support the creation of the learning environment
Provide staff with appropriate ICT support and advice
Review and approve all IT systems and software prior to their purchase and implementation
Manage crisis situations,



which may involve complex technical hardware or software problems
Mentor and train recent ICT support staff
