Certifications/Licenses:
Must be able to pass New York State Health Department requirements for food handlers.

Work Eligibility: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Work Location Requirement: Onsite

Schedule: 7:00am-3:30pm Friday-Tuesday

About the Role

The Housekeeping/Food Service Worker supports shelter operations by maintaining cleanliness, assisting with food service, and ensuring a secure and sanitary environment for residents.

Primary Responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness of common areas, kitchens, and dining areas.
Assist with food preparation, serving, and cleanup in accordance with sanitation standards.
Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and food service equipment.
Follow infection control, health, and safety procedures.
Restock supplies and assist with inventory control.
Remove trash and maintain sanitation of waste areas.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
