Sydney Steel Windows & Doors is looking for an experienced General Hand to join our growing team in Alexandria, NSW. As a General Hand, you will play a crucial role in supporting our operations and ensuring the smooth running of our maintenance and handyperson services. What you'll be doing
Assisting with general maintenance tasks, including minor repairs, painting, and light assembly work
Ensuring work areas are clean, safe, and well-organised
Maintaining and operating a range of hand and power tools safely and effectively
Providing excellent customer service and contributing to a positive team setting
What we're looking for
Previous experience in a general handyperson or maintenance role, ideally within the trades and services industry
Strong practical skills and the ability to follow instructions and work with a range of tools and equipment
Good communication and customer service skills
A keen eye for detail and a proactive, problem-solving attitude
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
A valid driver's licence and your own reliable transportation
A valid fork lift licence.
