Event Coordinator | 2-Month Temporary Assignment An opportunity exists for an experienced Events Officer to join a government organisation based in Fremantle. Supporting a busy events team during a peak period, you will provide project coordination and administrative support across a range of community and public event activities.

You will play a key role in managing event applications, supporting assessment processes, coordinating stakeholder communications, and liaising with external contractors and event organisers.

Your new role
Coordinate and administer event applications and approval processes
Support the assessment and review of event submissions
Liaise with event organisers, contractors, suppliers and stakeholders
Monitor project timelines, documentation and deliverables
Assist with event planning, logistics and operational requirements
Prepare reports, correspondence and stakeholder communications
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with organisational procedures




Provide project support across multiple events and initiatives

What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in event coordination, event management or project support
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Demonstrated experience managing competing priorities and deadlines
Experience working with contractors, suppliers and external stakeholders
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and as part of a cooperative team
Experience within local or state government
Experience supporting outdoor, community or public events
Qualification in Events Management, Project Management, Communications or a related discipline
