We have a need for cook in our recent restaurant. We are a franchisee of Rashays operation at hyperdome shopping Centre. We are renowned for offering a delicious fusion of Italian and up-to-date Australian cuisine along with impeachable service and relaxed ambiance.
The position of cook will be under the direction of the chef , with duties including:
Ensure consistent quality in food preparation and presentation.
Analyze recipes to meet dietary requirements of patrons.
Regulating temperatures of ovens, freezers and other cooking equipment.
Seasoning food during cooking.
Analyze recipes to meet dietary requirements of patrons.
Regulating temperatures of ovens, freezers and other cooking equipment.
Train, lead, and manage kitchen staff.
Share culinary expertise for kitchen staff development.
Create visually appealing, tasty and exciting dishes.
Plan customized menus for special occasions and event like birthday parties.
Maintain hygiene and food standards.
Have expertise in preparing and cooking various types of pastas, pizza, steak, entree and deserts as per the menu.
Remuneration: $79,600/annum plus superannuation and allowance as per law. The ideal candidate would have a minimum two years of relevant experience in cooking with a commitment for consistency, quality and term work. May be required to work on week ends and on shift basis based on the roaster.
