About the role

Redcliffe Leagues Club (Dolphins) is seeking a Commis Chef to join the team. With a range of food outlets, including Koopa Cafe, On The Green, Bistro forty20, 8 function rooms, Dolphins NRL catering and a 10,000-seat KAYO Stadium, supported by over 50,000 Dolphin members, this is an prospect to be part of a dynamic and thriving environment.

Key responsibilities
Contribute to the kitchen operations, including food preparation, presentation and occasional menu input
Assist the Executive Chef, Head Chef and Chef de Partie with all culinary requirements, while fostering a positive and cooperative work environment
Maintain consistent food standards and cleaning/hygiene routines
Mise en place, cooking and plating for catering functions
Assist the wider catering team in maintaining catering techniques and procedures, food safety regulations and workplace health and safety

About you
Proven experience in the operation of a skilled kitchen operation in a Club workplace




Certificate IV in commercial cookery
Proven experience as a qualified Cook or Chef
Extensive knowledge of general and specialised food preparation techniques and procedures
Sound knowledge of the latest cooking trends and techniques
Sound knowledge of stock management procedures
Driven and passionate culinary professional
