About the Company

Are you an experienced Collections qualified looking to join a supportive and growing finance business? We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Credit Collections Officer to play a key role in managing customer accounts, improving payment outcomes, and building solid relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for managing delinquent accounts, negotiating repayment solutions, and helping customers return to positive payment behaviours while delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities
Manage collections activities across a portfolio of customer accounts
Contact customers to secure payments and negotiate suitable payment arrangements
Respond to enquiries from customers, brokers and external stakeholders
Provide regular updates and reporting on delinquent accounts
Work closely with internal teams to rehabilitate overdue accounts
Assist with repossession, asset recovery and loss recovery processes when required
Maintain accurate records and ensure all activities are completed in line with company policies and procedures




Build solid relationships with customers and stakeholders while delivering outstanding service

Qualifications
Previous experience in credit collections within a bank, lender or finance company

Required Skills
Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
Ability to manage difficult conversations with professionalism and empathy
Highly organised with solid self-management skills
Confident working autonomously and taking ownership of outcomes
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Pay range and compensation package Attractive salary of $80,000 - $100,000 + Super
