Building Auditor – Building Fabric & Services

About the Role

We're seeking experienced Building Auditors to join our Brisbane team, conducting comprehensive condition assessments across commercial and retail development facilities. You'll play a key role in evaluating building fabric and services, capturing detailed data to support asset management, compliance, and capital planning decisions.

About You

You're a detail-oriented professional with a strong technical background in building condition assessment. You bring:
Proven experience conducting building fabric condition assessments (façade, ceilings, floors structure, finishes)
Solid understanding of building services (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, fire) and their condition lifecycle
Experience working across commercial and retail development or facility types
Solid data capture and reporting skills, with accuracy and consistency across large datasets
Ability to interpret building plans, specifications, and compliance documentation
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for liaising with clients and stakeholders




A current driver's licence and willingness to travel to site as required
Relevant qualifications in building surveying, construction, engineering, or a related field (highly regarded)

What You'll Be Doing
Conducting in office building condition audits across a portfolio of commercial and retail building assets
Assessing building fabric and services condition, identifying defects, risks, and remaining useful life
Capturing and recording accurate data using a tablet and other various tools
Preparing clear, well-structured condition assessment reports
Liaising with clients, facility managers, and internal teams throughout the audit process
Supporting capital works planning and asset lifecycle recommendations
