Job Overview: This role is ideal for a qualified accountant with a few years of experience looking to take the next step in their career. You’ll play a critical role in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting compliance, and delivering insightful reporting that drives business performance.

Job Responsibilities
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Conduct general ledger reconciliations and journal entries
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Ensure compliance with Australian Accounting Standards and tax regulations
Support BAS, GST, FBT, and payroll tax reporting
Liaise with external auditors and prepare audit schedules
Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements
Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management

Requirements




Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
With 3–5 years of accounting experience in a commercial or public practice setting
Solid knowledge of Australian taxation and regulatory requirements
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar)
Advanced Excel skills and data analysis capabilities
Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
