Balanced Books and Accounts Pty Ltd is seeking a full time Bookkeeper to join our team in Keilor Park, Victoria. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and providing essential financial support to our small business clients. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing accounting practice.
What you'll be doing
Record daily financial transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
Payroll processing and file management
Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations
Collaborate with the team to improve financial processes and procedures
Provide excellent customer service to our small business clients
What we're looking for
Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or Bookkeeping
At least 2 years' experience working as a Bookkeeper
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping best practices
Proficiency in using Xero accounting software
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
