About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dedicated culinary team. You will play a key role in upholding our high standards in food preparation, presentation, and kitchen management, while bringing fresh and creative ideas to enhance our dynamic menu.

Key responsibilities
Design and update menus using seasonal and fresh ingredients
Prepare dishes that meet quality and presentation standards
Ensure smooth daily kitchen operations
Manage food costs and minimise waste while maintaining quality
Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards
Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff
Schedule staff shifts and ensure coverage during busy times
Taste-test dishes to ensure consistency and excellence
Monitor stock levels and ensure timely procurement of ingredients
Stay updated with industry trends and introduce creative ideas to enhance the menu and dining experience

About you
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a chef
Certificate IV in Commercial cookery or a related field is preferred




Experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments is highly desirable
