We are seeking a dedicated and organised Administrative Assistant to join our team at Sydney Kids Hand Therapy and OT Centre in Denistone East, NSW. This part-time role will provide crucial administrative support to our team, allowing them to focus on delivering high-quality care to our young patients. Days required are Monday (10am to 6pm), Tuesday (10am to 6pm) and Thursday (10am to 5.30pm). Hours to cover after school appointments.
Key responsibilities
Be the first point of contact for clients, families and staff in a clinic environment
Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families, handling enquiries and booking requests with empathy and professionalism
Provide cross-site administrative support
Provide essential support including appointment bookings, waitlist management, billing and reconciling
Support directors by managing schedules, meetings, and communications
Perform general clerical duties such as filing, photocopying and ordering
Oversee office operations to ensure smooth workflow across the team
About you
At least 2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a healthcare or medical setting
Strong organisational and time management skills,
with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine interest in providing exceptional customer service
Proficient in using common office software, including Microsoft Office and other relevant software including Halaxy or other health management software
Good working knowledge of computer software, digital systems and technology, with a willingness to learn new platforms
The ability to work well independently and as part of a cooperative team
