Kidsafe QLD is the leading non-government, not-for-profit, charitable organisation dedicated to the prevention of unintentional childhood injuries.

Kidsafe Qld operates fitting, sales and hires of child car seats through a central booking service, provides information and education to parents and carers on preventing childhood injuries, offers a range of safety products and child car restraints for sale online as well as at our office in Stafford.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to join the Kidsafe Qld team at our head office location.

Job tasks and responsibilities
Answer phones
Use on-line booking system - training provided
Collate paperwork, record phone calls and mailings
Ensure office is open, tidy and ready to work
Action phone messages and manage phone system
Respond to and action email enquiries
Data entry into various softwares - Onedrive, Clickup, Booqable - training provided
Meet and greet customers
Assist customers who are returning a capsule or car seat
Assist with stock ordering
Assist customers with purchase of safety products and child car seats
Assist with social media postings
General office duties as required




Assist other staff as required

Skills and experience
Minimum of 3 years experience in a busy office / reception role
Ability to work well in a team
Excellent communication skills including written and verbal
Superior ability to manage administrative tasks
Superior standard of interpersonal skills
Thorough attention to detail
Strong client focus and an understanding of and commitment to superior client relationship
Ability to talk to and relate to clients in a friendly and skilled manner
Ability to meet clients needs and expectations and motivation to exceed those expectations at every prospect
Strong spelling and grammar skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office software
100% accuracy in data entry
