About the Role

Reporting to the Project team, the Yardperson will be responsible for maintaining the yard, supporting site logistics, handling materials and equipment, and ensuring a safe and organised work workplace.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
Maintain a clean, protected and organised yard setting
Assist with receiving, unloading and dispatching materials and equipment
Conduct general housekeeping and yard maintenance duties
Support tradespeople and operational personnel as required
Operate site vehicles and equipment in accordance with procedures
Participate in safety initiatives and comply with all site requirements

Qualifications To Be Successful You Will Have
Current Manual Driver's Licence (Essential)
Previous experience in a yardperson, stores, labouring or similar role
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
Ability to perform physically demanding work




Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A proactive and reliable work ethic

Desirable Qualifications
Forklift Licence (Highly Regarded)
Experience working in mining, construction or heavy industry environments
Basic mechanical aptitude

Residential Requirement

This is a residential position and applicants must reside in or be willing to relocate to:
West Wyalong
Forbes
Or surrounding regional communities
