Pedagogy & Curriculum Leader
Are you an experienced Early Childhood professional who is passionate about quality practice, mentoring others and inspiring Educational Leaders to achieve their best?
Queensland Childcare Services (QCCS) is looking for an experienced and motivatedPedagogy & Curriculum Leaderto work alongside our centre teams, strengthening curriculum, pedagogy and educational practice across our services.
This is an exciting prospect to step beyond a single service and make an impact across multiple QCCS centres.
The Opportunity
Schedule:Monday to Friday, 5 days per week
Region:South East Queensland, including North Brisbane through to the Glass House Mountains
Hours:Up to 38 hours per week, with flexibility
Head Office:Shailer Park, with regular Head Office meetings required
Salary:Competitive salary package, well above award
Tools Provided:Company vehicle for work-related travel, phone and laptop

About the Role
As ourPedagogy & Curriculum Leader, you will play an important role in strengthening educational practice across QCCS.
Working closely with ourCentre Educational Leaders, you will mentor, coach and inspire teams to deliver meaningful, high-quality learning experiences for children.
You will regularly visit services across South East Queensland, with a particular focus on centres from North Brisbane through to the Glass House Mountains.
You will also attend meetings at our Head Office in Shailer Park.
Your ability to build relationships, inspire confidence and create genuine enthusiasm for quality Early Childhood Education will be central to your success.
Key Responsibilities
You will:
Conduct regular scheduled centre visits, supporting adherence to QCCS policies, practices and processes while promoting continuous improvement.
Observe and assess educator interactions and educational practice to support alignment with theEarly Years Learning Framework (EYLF),National Quality Standard (NQS)and sector best practice.
Coach, mentor and develop Educational Leaders to strengthen their confidence, capability and leadership.
Support the development and implementation of engaging, meaningful and high-quality educational programs.
Review educational programs, documentation and practices to ensure quality, relevance and compliance.
Facilitatemonthly Educational Leader Networking Meetings, encouraging collaboration, professional discussion and shared learning.
Identify professional development needs anddesign, write and deliver targeted trainingfor our teams.
Provide practical, hands-on support throughout theAssessment and Ratingprocess, helping services feel prepared, knowledgeable and confident.
Build a strong culture of reflection, continuous improvement and excellence in educational practice.
About You
We are looking for an experienced Early Childhood professional who knows what outstanding practice looks like — and, importantly, knows how to bring others along on the journey.
To be successful, you will have:
A strong understanding of theNational Quality Standard (NQS), EYLF and Assessment and Rating process.
Proven, hands-on experience contributing to or achieving anExceeding NQS ratingwithin an Early Childhood service.
A minimum ofthree years' leadership experienceas an Educational Leader, Centre Director or in a comparable leadership position.
A completedDiploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or higher qualification.
A currentQueensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
Strong communication, coaching and relationship-building skills.
The ability to motivate, mentor and positively influence teams.
A genuine passion for children's learning, development, health and wellbeing.
Reliability, initiative and a strong work ethic.
A positive attitude, a sense of humour and a genuinegrowth mindset.
