The Opportunity
ThePrincipalwill provide theeducational,operationalandstrategic leadership of theSchool, ensuring the deliveryofhighqualitylearningwhile fostering a safe,inclusiveand positive environment for students,staffand families.
Working closely with the General Manager and Board of Directors, the Principal will lead the next chapter of the Italian Bilingual School, with responsibility spanning educational excellence, school improvement, staff leadership, student wellbeing,operations,financialmanagement,governanceandcommunity engagement.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to:
Lead high-quality teaching and learning across theSchooland ensure the effective delivery of the NSW Curriculum and NESA requirements.
Champion bilingual education and strengthen the integration of Italian language and culture throughout the learning experience.
Develop and implement the School Strategic Plan and School Improvement Plan.
Build a collaborative, high-performing and positive staff culture.
Ensure a solid focus on student wellbeing, childsafetyand inclusive educational practice.
Provide oversight of school operations, governance,compliance,riskandfinancialmanagement.
Strengthen partnerships with parents,



families,educationalorganisationsandthe wider community.
Work collaboratively with Marketing to support studentenrolment,retentionandthe ongoing growth of theSchool.
The breadth of the position provides the incoming Principal with the opportunity to influence both the educational direction andbroaderorganisationalsuccessof theSchool.
About You
The Italian Bilingual School isseekingan experienced and relational educational leader who combines a strong understanding of teaching and learning with the ability to lead people,strategyand school operations.
You willdemonstrate:
Recognisedteaching qualifications and current NESA accreditation.
Significant experiencein educational leadership.
A demonstrated capacity toleadimprovement in teaching and learning.
Strongpeopleleadershipand staff management capability.
Experience overseeing school operations and budgets.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
A sound understanding of schoolgovernance,complianceandrisk management.
A strong commitment to child safety,studentwellbeingandinclusive education.
Experience within an independent school environment, bilingual education, Italian language and culture, enrolment growthorCLILmethodologywouldbe highly regarded.
