WHAT YOU WILL DO
Depending on your experience level, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a range of audit and assurance engagements, including:
Managing audit engagements from planning through to completion
Performing external audit procedures and evaluating audit risks
Understanding and testing internal control procedures
Preparing audit planning, risk response and completion documentation
Providing technical audit and assurance advice to clients and stakeholders
Assisting clients with the application of accounting standards and policies
Preparing and reviewing General Purpose Financial Reports
Coordinating with clients and internal team members throughout engagements
Supporting junior team members and contributing to their development
Assisting with special projects and advisory opportunities
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are interested in hearing from Audit Intermediates who have:




2–4 years' experience in professional services, with a focus on Audit and Assurance
Experience working with a range of clients, including larger client groups and more complex structures
Understanding of Australian Accounting Standards (AASB), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Australian Auditing Standards (AuASB)
Experience conducting audit procedures and preparing audit documentation
A commitment to high-quality client service and ethical professional practice
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
A commitment to continuous learning and professional development
You will ideally have:
A Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) or similar qualification
Completed or be progressing towards CA, CPA or equivalent qualification
Experience with accounting and audit software including Caseware, Xero, MYOB or QuickBooks
