A Snapshot
As theSeniorServices andCommissioningManager,Australia,basedin Sydney,you willreportdirectlytotheServicesandCommissioningAssociateDirectorbasedin our HQ in Sydney.
You willwork closely withtheDesign,DevelopmentandOperationsteams, making your mark ina number ofways:
Act as thebuilding servicesandcommissioninglead,overseeingmultipleprojectsinSydneyandmanagethem throughtosuccessfulcompletionand handover to the operations team and customers.
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders including General Contractors, Suppliers,CommissioningAgentsandCustomers to meet all AirTrunk requirements within the testing and handover process.
Collaboratewith theAPMEAirTrunkDevelopmentandDesign team to drivethe safety and quality standards and global best practices to meet AirTrunk requirements
EnsuringAirTrunk'sdatacentresare commissioned not just for completion, but forlong ‐termoperability,performanceandlifecycle sustainability.

Your Day to Day
Provide leadership to the internal and external commissioning teams throughout the commissioning process for new data center developments inSydney,Australia




Ensuregovernancethroughoutthe commissioning process tomaintainhigh standardsofproject delivery.
Conduct detailed design reviewand drive improvementsof MEP (Mechanical, Electrical Plumbing) services to our new data centers to enablesuccessfulcommissioning
Plan and executethe commissioning and handover process for AirTrunk new datacentersinthe region(Support in other regions may berequiredfrom time to time)
Oversee and manage multiple projects atdifferentprojectstagesatanyone time
Ensure that all commissioning procedures follow the necessary safety and environmental policies and practices.
Drive consultant, General Contractor, Supplier and Commissioning Agent activities prior to and during commissioning to enable efficient and successful handover.
Coordinate and resolve technical issues leading up to and during commissioning.
Internal and external stakeholder engagement and report back to management on the status of commissioning activities
Driveandwitnesssuccessfulfactory testing of MEP equipment.
Attend regular designandcommissioningmeetingstoensure AirTrunk standards and procedures arebeing maintained.
Attend construction meetings on anas-needbasis.
Establish and coordinate the commissioning schedule withgeneralcontractors,vendors, contractors, andcommissioningagenttoensure completion prior to RFS dates.
Review the MEP, DCS, ICT,Securityand other services designs forcompliancewithAirTrunksrequirementsand to enable effective and successful completion and commissioning and Oversee stakeholders document controlfor these disciplines
Oversee contractor commissioning defect management process and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
Coordinate commissioning activities withAirTrunkOperationsteamsand ensure submissions of MOPS, O&M; Manuals and Training on-time and toAirTrunk'srequirements




Requirements
You have8+ years of experience acting as a Commissioning Manager leadfor a data center provider orCommissioning Agent roleleadingthe successful handoverof complex data center projects
Experiencecommissioninginlive, operational datacentres
You have a good understanding of multi-disciplinary building servicesdesign,constructionandcommissioning processes
You have experience interfacing withdata center MEP Suppliers, Contractors,and Commissioning Agentswithin theAPACmarket
You are incredibly flexible and adaptable to a dynamic fast-paced,collaborativeenvironment
You are willing to make decisions and be accountable for them
You excel at communication; you can deliver effective presentations on datacentredesign and commissioning strategiesto customers,peersand management
You have good leadership acumen to lead multi-disciplinary teams acrossmultiplegeographies
You are willing to travel to other APAC regions
