Salary range: $128,169 to $137,918 p.a. (HP4)
4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading

About your opportunity:
The purpose of this position is to play a key role in delivering Queensland Health's Early Intervention and Parenting Support Initiative, the Expanded Child Health Centre Initiative and Putting Queensland Kids First Strategy, specifically the Sustained Health Home Visiting Program and Enhanced Child Health Services and Developmental Checks Initiative.
The position sits within Child, Youth and Family Health and is designed to provide high level, specialist early intervention counselling services and parenting programs for families with complex needs and whose children are on a normal developmental trajectory.
The parenting period covered is from antenatal through to postnatal with children aged up to 4 years.
Clinical services are provided in line with the appropriate professional code of ethics.
A key component of the position is to provide clinical input and support regarding relevant early intervention and parenting issues to Child Health staff and other key stakeholders, especially those implementing the above initiatives, using a partnership approach.
Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration (AHPRA).
Possession of class C drivers' licence.
Travel is a requirement of this position.
This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
Probation period may apply.
Pre-employment checks will be conducted, including Blue Card checks (for Social Workers).
