Primary Location NSW - Parramatta Job Description Summary Position description attached About the Role National Scheduling & Reporting Project Manager Fixed-Term Contract | Telecommunications Infrastructure Program Preferred Locations: Sydney or Melbourne Fixed-Term Contract: Approximately November **** to February **** At Service Stream, we're looking for an experienced National Scheduling & Reporting Project Manager to step into a business-critical leadership role supporting one of Australia's largest telecommunications infrastructure programs.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded project qualified who thrives on turning complex operational data into meaningful insights, improving reporting systems, and supporting high-performing delivery teams.
You'll play a key role in national scheduling, performance reporting, forecasting, data governance, system administration, and stakeholder engagement.
Working closely with project leaders, finance teams, subcontractors, governance specialists, and client stakeholders, you'll help ensure project delivery remains on track, informed, and data-driven.
What you'll be doing
National Scheduling & Delivery Planning
Manage project schedules, forecasts, production plans, and delivery performance against established baselines.
Coordinate work allocation across subcontractor networks to align capacity with forecast demand.
Monitor delivery outcomes, identify risks and constraints, and recommend mitigation strategies.
Support operational planning by translating forecasts into achievable delivery plans.
Performance Reporting & Analytics
Prepare and coordinate weekly and monthly performance reports covering operational, financial, safety, and client metrics.
Develop executive and client-facing dashboards and reporting packs.
Analyse performance trends, productivity rates,



bottlenecks, and project variances.
Deliver actionable insights that support informed decision-making across the program.
Data Governance & Quality
Maintain the integrity of project data across key reporting platforms and systems.
Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance activities.
Investigate discrepancies and work collaboratively with stakeholders to resolve issues.
Maintain robust reporting controls and auditable processes.
Systems & Continuous Improvement
Act as a key administrator and subject matter expert for project systems, including KONECT.
Collaborate with Power BI teams to enhance reporting functionality and data visualisation.
Develop and improve Excel-based tools, automation, reconciliations, and reporting processes.
Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.
Financial & Claims
Coordinate production and claims reporting activities.
Validate deliverables to support invoicing and subcontractor payments.
Assist with financial reporting, payroll inputs, and month-end processes.
Ensure reporting controls are in place to minimise financial risk.
What you'll bring
Demonstrated experience in project scheduling, reporting, analytics, project controls, or similar functions within a complex operational environment.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including: Complex formulas Pivot tables Data reconciliation Macros and automation.




Experience working with Power BI and translating business requirements into meaningful reporting solutions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholder groups.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level reporting.
Highly regarded Experience within telecommunications, utilities, infrastructure, field services, or large delivery programs.
KONECT administration experience.
Knowledge of claims validation, invoicing, forecasting, or month-end reporting.
SQL experience and the ability to extract and manipulate reporting data.
Experience driving reporting, data quality, or process improvement initiatives.
