Role
n
Working closely with the Estimating Manager for the company, you will take responsibility for the following. Noting that intermediate experienced will be assisted in some areas, for progression to a more senior level:

Take-offs and budget estimates (finishing trades to start)
n
Elemental and trade breakdown reviews
n
Collate and analyse trade subcontractor pricing for benchmarking use
n
Complete value management pricing
n
Complete detailed measures for finishing trades
n
Complete purchaser upgrade and variation pricing
n
Preparing trade budgets for handover to construction team
n
Obtain trade subcontractor and supplier pricing
n
Assess trade subcontractor pricing
n
Develop and maintain relationships with trade subcontractors & suppliers
n




Liaise and work collaboratively with project stakeholders
n
Updating and maintaining project area analysis data.
n

What you'll need to succeed
n
To be considered for this role, you must have relevant experience with the above duties, with a successful track record of estimating for commercial construction projects. Whether you are trade qualified or a qualified Quantity Surveyor, both will be considered. You will also possess excellent time management skills, be able to communicate and plan effectively with a high attention to detail. Experience with CostX will be highly regarded.
