Summary:
Ox Engineering is seeking a skilled Sheetmetal Operator to join our manufacturing team in Canning Vale.
This permanent, full-time position requires a skilled individual who can operate and maintain sheet metal machinery, ensuring high-quality production standards.
The operator will contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations, supporting our commitment to delivering exceptional products to our clients.
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC press brake machinery
Read and interpret engineering drawings
Measure, mark out and inspect sheet metal components
Select and set appropriate tooling
Ensure accurate bends, angles and dimensions
Carry out quality checks throughout production
Maintain machinery and a clean, protected work area
Work efficiently to meet production deadlines
What We're Looking For:




Previous experience insheet metal fabrication and press brake operation
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
Strong attention to detail and quality
Good measurement skills
CNC press brake experience highly regarded
Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a sheet metal operator or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes and machinery.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
Relevant vocational qualification or certification in metal fabrication or a related field is preferred.
