About the role
Join Croydon Shire Council as a Qualified Carpenter and play a key role in maintaining, restoring and improving council buildings and community infrastructure.
You will undertake a diverse range of carpentry and maintenance projects, help preserve the shire's unique heritage assets, mentor trainees, and contribute to work planning and budgeting.




This hands-on role offers the opportunity to work independently, deliver high-quality outcomes and make a lasting impact within a close-knit rural community.
About you
Qualified carpenter with proven post-apprenticeship experience.
Skilled in building maintenance and repairs.
Strong planning, organisation and time management skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Safety-focused with commitment to quality workmanship.

Great base salary from $95,000 salary (above award) subject to experience
Locality Allowance up to $6,700 per annum
