Bakery Manager / Head Baker – Exciting Recent Bakery Opening in Dwellingup

We're bringing something special to Dwellingup and are looking for an experienced Bakery Manager / Head Baker to join us from the very beginning.
n
This is a rare opportunity to play a key role in launching a brand-new bakery. From helping set up the bakery and establishing systems, to building and leading the team, you'll be instrumental in creating a bakery that becomes a favourite with both locals and visitors.
n
Everything will be baked fresh on site each day, with a focus on quality ingredients, consistency and exceptional customer experiences.
n
As our Bakery Manager / Head Baker, you'll oversee the day-to-day bakery operations while remaining hands‐on in the production of our products. You'll be responsible for ensuring the bakery runs efficiently, maintaining high standards and leading a positive, high‐performing team.

Assisting with the setup and launch of our new bakery.
n
Developing efficient bakery systems, workflows and production schedules.
n
Baking a range of fresh breads, pastries and baked goods from scratch.
n
Managing dough preparation, proving, baking and finishing.
n
Leading, mentoring and managing the bakery team.
n




Rostering staff and supporting recruitment and training.
n
Maintaining quality, consistency and presentation across all products.
n
Ordering ingredients and managing stock levels.
n
Ensuring food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety standards are maintained.
n
Working collaboratively with the wider business to help grow the bakery.
n

We're Looking For Someone Who:

Has extensive baking experience, ideally in a leadership or management role.
n
Is passionate about producing exceptional artisan bakery products.
n
Enjoys building teams and developing people.
n
Is organised, reliable and thrives in a fast‐paced environment.
n
Has excellent attention to detail and strong problem‐solving skills.
n
Is excited by the opportunity to help establish a new business from the ground up.
n
Holds relevant baking qualifications or equivalent industry experience.
n
Holds (or is willing to obtain) relevant food safety certification.
