We're currently seeking experienced General Hands to join our Civil Maintenance Team. If you have a background in operating trucks, plant and equipment, and take pride in maintaining roads and civil infrastructure, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing
n
n
Operating plant equipment: loaders, excavators, trucks, bobcats, rollers, and more
n
Civil construction and maintenance tasks
n
Reading and interpreting construction drawings and utility plans
n
Promoting safe working practices and identifying potential site risks
n
Working effectively both independently and as part of a team
n
n
About You
n




You'll be an experienced operator with strong knowledge of civil works and a proactive, safety-first approach. The ideal candidate will have:
n
Essential Criteria
n
n
HR Truck Licence (Western Australia)
n
First Aid Certificate (Provide First Aid)
n
White Card (Construction Induction)
n
Basic Worksite Traffic Management accreditation
n
WORKSAFE WA
n
High-Risk Work Licences: Forklift (LF), HIAB/Vehicle Loading Crane (CV), Dogman (DG)
n
Competency in operating heavy equipment (e.g., excavator, skid steer, loader, roller, grader, water cart)
n
Experience using hand tools, pumps, and power-operated equipment
n
Understanding of WHS legislative requirements
n
Experience reading construction drawings and DBYD plans
n
Outdoor work experience in civil construction or similar industries
n
Ability to work safely and follow instructions effectively
n
n
Bonus Skills (Desirable)
n
n
Previous local government experience
n
Additional machine operating tickets or licences
n
MR licence
n
n
