Carmichael College is a Prep to Year 12 co-educational, non-denominational Christian College situated in Morayfield, Queensland.

The Carmichael Campus is a Christian community that incorporates Carmichael College, Carmichael Kids Early Learning and Kindergarten, OSHC, Carmichael Tuckshop and Creekside Café.
We are seeking a Human Resources professional with generalist experience to support the Carmichael Campus on a parental leave maximum term contract.
This is a short-term contract commencing in December **** and is a outstanding opportunity for a Human Resources professional to gain experience in a school environment and work in a faith-filled community environment.
The title of the role will be confirmed based on the successful applicant's level of experience.
About the role
In this end-to-end generalist role you will be responsible for onboarding, offboarding, human resources policies, supporting employee relations, and coordinating recruitment.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
Coordinate recruitment, onboarding and offboarding across the campus
Support compliance with employment legislation, the College Enterprise Collective Agreements, Awards and organisation policies
Provide practical HR advice to leaders and employees on employment conditions, performance, conduct and workplace matters
Supporting WorkCover, injury management and return-to-work processes
Acting as the central point of contact for generalist HR support across the business
Administer HR systems, including ELMO,
and maintain accurate employee data and records
Promote the wellbeing and safety of children and young people, in accordance with Queensland Child Safe Standards and the campus policies and procedures
About you
The ideal candidate will:
Have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a Human Resources generalist role
Hold relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline
Demonstrate knowledge of employment legislation, Awards and employment compliance
Demonstrate knowledge of HR best practice
Be highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
Have demonstrated integrity, discretion, initiative and sound judgement when handling confidential information
Be actively involved in prayer for the Campus and participate in staff devotions
Model a positive example of Christian community interactions with parents, students, other staff and the wider community
Promote the Vision and Mission of the Campus and the underlying values and beliefs to parents, students or the wider community
Hold a current 'Blue Card' or have the ability to obtain one
