Are you an accomplished sustainability leader who is ready toinfluence the environmental future of Western Australia's capitalcity?
As Alliance Manager Sustainability, you will providestrategic direction across environmental sustainability, climateaction and resource stewardship, embedding sustainable practicesthroughout the organisation.
Reporting to the General Manager Planning and Sustainability,you will: guide the delivery of the City's Sustainability Strategy;provide expert advice to senior leaders and Council; as well asdevelop a capable, cooperative team that is committed toachieving meaningful and measurable outcomes.
About the Role
Strategic Sustainability:
Drive thedevelopment and implementation of the City's SustainabilityStrategyand supporting frameworks.
Organisational Impact:
Embedsustainability into corporate planning, infrastructureprojects, procurement, asset management and operationaldecision-making.
Governance and Performance:
Establishrobust governance, reporting and performance measures for theCity's environmental and climate commitments.
Programs and Partnerships:
Delivercomplex sustainability initiatives and build productiverelationships with government, industry,



research and communitypartners.
People Leadership:
Inspire anddevelop a high-performing team, fostering innovation,accountability and continuous improvement.
About You
Relevant tertiary qualifications and significant experienceleading sustainability, climate action or environmentalinitiatives within a complex organisation.
Demonstrated success developing and implementing strategicsustainability outcomes and contemporary environmentalgovernance practices.
Strong strategic judgement, with an ability to providepragmatic expert advice and influence executive as well asCouncil decision-making.
Highly developed stakeholder engagement,partnership-building, negotiation and communicationcapabilities.
Proven leadership experience, with an ability to buildcapability and guide teams through complexity, change andcompeting priorities.
