Senior Associate Family Lawyer
to help lead matters, mentor junior lawyers and contribute to the future success of our Gold Coast practice.
About the Senior Associate Family Lawyer | Gold Coast Lawyer Role
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced family lawyer who enjoys managing complex family law matters, mentoring others and contributing strategically to a growing law firm.
Based in our Varsity Lakes office, your responsibilities will include:
Advising clients on complex parenting, property and financial matters
Managing a diverse and sophisticated family law practice
Conducting negotiations and litigation across a broad range of family law matters




Developing and maintaining strong client and referral relationships
Providing strategic legal advice and practical solutions
Mentoring and supporting junior lawyers
Assisting with team development and knowledge sharing
Contributing to business growth and practice development initiatives
You will enjoy significant autonomy while working alongside experienced leaders in a collaborative and supportive environment.
About You
To be successful as a
Senior Associate Family Lawyer
, you will have:
Minimum 7 years post-admission experience (PAE) in Family Law
Proven ability to independently manage complex family law matters
Strong advocacy, negotiation and litigation skills
Excellent client relationship and communication abilities
Leadership and mentoring experience
Commercial awareness and a solutions-focused mindset
Strong organisational and practice management capabilities
A genuine commitment to collaboration and skilled excellence
