Right now, we are seeking an experienced and energised Senor Manager to lead, manage and execute delivery across our Maritime Systems Product Line.

As a Senior Contracts Manager, you will have a senior responsibility within our Contracts and Supplier Governance function, providing commercial expertise and leadership to a national portfolio of large program in Maritime Systems.
This includes leading proposals preparations, negotiations, control management and contract closure activities.
As key member of our Contracts & Supplier Governance organisation, you will be involved in supplier and commercial risk assessments and contract due diligence through all phases of contract performance and delivery.
In this position you will actively engage with the leadership team, customers, and suppliers to ensure that the activities are executed in accordance with contracted requirements (including cost, funding, schedule, and deliverables).
As the Senior Contracts Manager, you will demonstrate expert knowledge on policies and procedures; requiring you to exercise a high level of business acumen to ensure effective program performance.
Key Responsibilities
Leading and managing Contracts professionals across the Maritime Systems Product Line, including above and below water systems.
Commercial advice and the development of commercial solutions to achieve stakeholder objectives within a compliance framework.
Draft, review and negotiate complex commercial agreements, working with key stakeholders to ensure that all requirements and risks are addressed.
Contribute to bid and proposal activities, as required, including the preparation of commercial elements of bids and proposals and participation in management reviews.
Provide interpretation and advice on customer procurement policy and regulations, company policy, and contract requirements (including terms and conditions), to stakeholders to inform decision-making.
Serve as a point of contact for customer and supplier interfaces with the company during all phases of contract performance and the program life cycle.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
A Degree in Business, Commerce or Law, with a minimum of 10 years relevant experience in a similar role.
Demonstrated experience in commercial negotiations and development of customer and supplier relationships.
Demonstrated experience across ASDEFCON contracting models and defence contracting and commercial frameworks.
A self-motivated team player who can work independently with limited oversight.
Ability to draw on prior experience to investigate, analyse,
and solve difficult to moderately complex problems that are typically undefined and require consideration of multiple Functions / Product Lines, sites, and locations.
Successful candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a NV1 Security clearance as needed.
