We are seeking
2 x Project Support Officers
to provide operational and project support within a dynamic demand and planning environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced project administrators or project support professionals who enjoy stakeholder engagement, coordination and managing competing priorities in a fast paced environment.
The Opportunity
As a Project Support Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the intake, triage and coordination of digital work requests, ensuring initiatives are appropriately assessed, prioritised and prepared for delivery.
Working closely with business and technical stakeholders, you will contribute to governance, reporting, planning and project assurance activities while supporting the successful delivery of critical program outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage incoming requests through a centralised mailbox.
Perform intake and triage activities for project, technical and business change requests.
Support project governance, assurance and reporting processes.
Liaise with stakeholders across business and delivery teams to facilitate effective engagement and coordination.
Assist project leads with the preparation of project documentation, schedules and artefacts.
Review and maintain program roadmaps and governance reporting.
Monitor and coordinate release documentation and baselining activities.
Prepare briefing papers, reports and other project communications.
Support project lifecycle activities, including discovery and stage gate processes.
Contribute to capacity planning and demand management activities.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
Experience managing shared mailboxes and high volume correspondence.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands and meet deadlines.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
Sound judgement and the ability to identify, prioritise and elevate issues appropriately.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience monitoring workflows and maintaining accurate project records.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes.
Proficiency across Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint and Excel.
Ability to work collaboratively while exercising initiative and autonomy.
A customer focused approach and commitment to delivering high quality service.
Essential Requirements
Demonstrated experience aligning to the responsibilities outlined in this advertisement.
Hold a
Baseline Security Clearance
.
Australian Government or project support experience will be highly regarded.
