We are currently seeking an experienced
Maintenance Supervisor
to join a major mining operation at
Callide Mine, near Biloela, Queensland
.
Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you'll lead workshop maintenance crews to safely and efficiently deliver the maintenance plan.
You'll play a key role in driving safety performance, developing your team, managing maintenance activities and ensuring equipment availability and reliability.
This is a great chance for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor, or a strong Leading Hand ready to take the next step into a supervisory role.
What You'll Need
Australian trade qualification with extensive mining maintenance experience
Minimum 5 years' experience maintaining mining plant and equipment
Previous Maintenance Supervisor experience preferred; strong Leading Hands will be considered
G1, G8, G9 and G2 tickets essential
Standard 11
Current Australian Driver's Licence
First Aid Certificate
Solid safety leadership and people management skills
Experience with maintenance planning and scheduling
Strong communication and team leadership skills
Current Coal Board Medical, or willingness to complete
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
Experience with Komatsu ****, Liebherr 996B or 930E trucks highly regarded
