Employment Type: Fixed Term Full Time with the possibility of Part Time for a suitable candidate.
Hours: 86 hour fortnight (Full Time) / 43 hour fortnight (Part Time).
Salary: Hourly from HM25 $***** to HM30 $*****.
Location: Mercy Hospital for Women (163 Studley Rd Heidelberg Victoria ****).

About the opportunity Summary of the role: Based at the Mercy Hospital for Women in Heidelberg Contract from 02/11/2026 - 31/01/2027.
Fixed Term Full time with the possibility of Part Time for a suitable candidate.




The position is accredited through SOMANZ/RACP Flexibility with roles may be negotiated to suit individual training requirements Senior Registrar/Fellow will provide medical care for inpatients and outpatients at Mercy Hospital for Women as per position description Employment terms as per the Australian Medical Association (Victoria) Hospital Medical Officer Certified Agreement
You must have
Current registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Advanced Trainee in General Medicine and/or relevant speciality area or have completed your FRACP (General medicine or other relevant specialty) or equivalent
Highly developed and up to date clinical and theoretical knowledge
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to build relationships with people at all levels and work collaboratively with a diverse team
