Our Data and Analytics team supports the Financial Crime and Anti-Money Laundering division within Macquarie's retail banking business.
Working on a critical regulatory programme, the team is responsible for implementing and migrating a customer and sanctions screening platform, including real-time name screening capabilities, to help manage customer risk and meet regulatory obligations.
You'll be part of a cooperative and supportive environment that brings together specialists across risk, data, technology, and operations to deliver meaningful outcomes.

What role will you play?

As a Product Manager, you will play a key role in delivering the implementation and migration of a new customer and sanctions screening platform.
You will work closely with Financial Crime Risk, Data, Technology, and external vendor teams to translate regulatory requirements into practical business and technical solutions, support platform configuration and migration activities, and drive delivery through testing, implementation, and go-live.
Your work will help strengthen the bank's financial crime controls while ensuring regulatory commitments are met.

Experience as a Product Manager engaging with senior stakeholders (Risk, Compliance, Technology leadership) to align product decisions with program-level objectives and regulatory commitments
Proven experience implementing or migrating sanctions or name screening platforms within financial services or another highly regulated environment, ideally including Symphony AI solutions
Strong understanding of sanctions screening processes, including watchlist management, matching logic, reducing false positive alerts, and real-time and batch screening approaches
Significant experience working in financial crime or anti-money laundering technology roles, with the ability to bridge business, risk, and technology requirements
Strong analytical skills, including experience with SQL, data mapping, data lineage, data quality analysis, and system integrations such as application programming interfaces (APIs), batch processing, and real-time messaging
Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and delivery skills, with experience working across senior business, risk, technology, and vendor teams in a fast-paced and complex environment, alongside a proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem solving.
