Yulong Stud are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full Time Mechanic to join the team.
Yulong is a thoroughbred stud farm set over 4,000 acres near Nagambie in the pristine Goulburn Valley.
It is a family owned and operated business whose vision is to be one of the best and most influential thoroughbred breeders in Australia.
We have a variety of farm vehicles that require maintenance and are looking for a dedicated individual to fill that role.
Your duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Perform routine maintenance and servicing on Farm Vehicles and Machinery.
Maintain a regular and appropriate schedule of servicing for all farm vehicles.
Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with vehicles.
Test-drive vehicles to confirm proper operation and identify issues that require further attention.
Maintain the Farm Workshop area under supervision of the Workshop Manager.
Purchase of Equipment or parts needed for maintenance, if required by Management.
Maintain accurate records of all servicing and repair work performed.




Communicate effectively with relevant Managers regarding repair needs and cost estimates.
Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to ensure effective workflow and timely completion of repairs.
To be successful you will possess the following skills and attributes:
Proven experience as an automotive mechanic or technician, minimum of 3-4 years' experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of automotive systems.
Clean Valid Driver's Licence.
Right to work in Australia is essential.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Reliable, well-presented and punctual.
Excellent interpersonal and concise communication skills, with ability to maintain relationships with all stakeholders.
Ability to prioritize, good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Commitment to safety practices and regulations.
An attractive remuneration package is available for the successful candidate, dependant on experience.
