The Prospect
n
ThePrincipalwill provide the
educational,operationaland
strategic leadership of theSchool, ensuring the delivery
ofhighqualitylearning
while fostering a secure,inclusiveand positive workplace for students,staffand families.
n
Working closely with the General Manager and Board of Directors, the Principal will lead the next chapter of the Italian Bilingual School, with responsibility spanning educational excellence, school improvement, staff leadership, student wellbeing,
operations,financial
management,governanceand
community engagement.
n
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to:

Lead high-quality teaching and learning across theSchooland ensure the effective delivery of the NSW Curriculum and NESA requirements.
n
Champion bilingual education and strengthen the integration of Italian language and culture throughout the learning experience.
n
Develop and implement the School Strategic Plan and School Improvement Plan.
n
Build a collaborative, high-performing and positive staff culture.
n
Ensure a strong focus on student wellbeing, childsafetyand inclusive educational practice.
n
Provide oversight of school operations, governance,
compliance,riskandfinancial
management.
n
Strengthen partnerships with parents, families,
educationalorganisationsand




the wider community.
n
Work collaboratively with Marketing to support student
enrolment,retentionand
the ongoing growth of theSchool.
n
n

About You
n
The Italian Bilingual School isseekingan experienced and relational educational leader who combines a strong understanding of teaching and learning with the ability to lead people,strategyand school operations.
n
You willdemonstrate:
n
n
Recognisedteaching qualifications and current NESA accreditation.
n
Significant experiencein educational leadership.
n
A demonstrated capacity toleadimprovement in teaching and learning.
n
Strongpeopleleadership
and staff management capability.
n
Experience overseeing school operations and budgets.
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
n
A sound understanding of school
governance,complianceand
risk management.
n
A strong commitment to child safety,
studentwellbeingand
inclusive education.
n
n
Experience within an independent school environment, bilingual education, Italian language and culture, enrolment growth
orCLILmethodologywould
be highly regarded.
