Rising Sun Hotel is seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our kitchen team. This is a great chance for a motivated hospitality professional who takes pride in preparing high-quality meals and contributing to a busy hotel kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, cook, and present meals in line with the hotel's menu and quality standards.

Ensure food is prepared fresh, safely, and consistently for customers.
n
Assist with menu planning, specials, and seasonal food offerings.
n
Maintain high standards of food presentation, portion control, and kitchen hygiene.
n
Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients and kitchen supplies.
n
Ensure all food safety, health, and hygiene regulations are followed.
n
Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
n
Train and support junior kitchen staff where required.
n
Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient workstation.

Assist with managing food costs, wastage, and kitchen productivity.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Chef in a hotel, restaurant, pub, or similar hospitality environment.
n
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
n
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
n
Good communication and teamwork skills.
n
Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements.
n
Relevant commercial cookery qualification is preferred.

Must be reliable, hardworking, and passionate about delivering quality food.
