Job Description
Role Title: Theatre Orderly
Role Type: Permanent part time, 24 hours per week
Shift details: Day shifts only, no night shifts required
Department and Location: Mater Clinic Theatre, Mater Hospital, Sydney, NSW

About the Role
This role will be pivotal in support for the perioperative team ensuring patient flow and a positive patient experience while contributing to the overall standard of care delivered.
Transporting and manual handling of patients to and from the Operating Theatre.
Care and maintenance of equipment used during surgery.
About You
Previous hospital or Operating Room experience.
A commitment to attending conferences and lectures as identified as requirements for this position.
Knowledge of the Department of Health Guidelines and Regulations, Workplace Health & Safety,
Infection Control and their impact on the delivery of care.
Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
