About the role
We have an opportunity for an
Observability Specialist
to be part of our Technology Operations Centre, Technology and Communication Services Command.
TheObservability Specialist leads the delivery of enterprise-wide observability services and is responsible for designing and implementing observability solutions that provide actionable insights into system health, performance and user experience.
This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of observability and event management within a large and complex enterprise environment.
Working across a diverse technology landscape, you will play a key role in improving how technology services are monitored, measured and managed, helping to reduce operational risk, improve service reliability and enhance the user experience.
You will work closely with infrastructure, application, cloud, cyber security and operational teams to drive modern monitoring practices, meaningful insights and proactive service management.
The role offers exposure to a broad range of technologies, operational challenges and stakeholders, providing the opportunity to influence enterprise standards, operational processes and the adoption of data-driven decision making.
You will be instrumental in transforming telemetry, events and operational data into actionable insights that improve service outcomes and support continual improvement.

To be eligible to apply for this role, you must meet one of the following statuses:
a permanent resident of Australia; or
a New Zealand citizen.
Prior to commencement, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a rigorous National Police (criminal history) Check and obtain and maintain a Security Clearance as determined by the NSW Police Force.
