About the Role
As Manager of Advocates, you'll provide supervision, management and mentorship of Solicitor Advocates in the Criminal Law Division and contribute to service delivery planning.
About You
You are an experienced criminal law practitioner with strong advocacy expertise and demonstrated people leadership skills.
You have the ability to lead, mentor and support Solicitor Advocates, fostering professional development and promoting best practice across a dispersed workforce.
A collaborative and strategic leader, you build effective relationships with Public Defenders, Solicitors in Charge and other stakeholders to address service delivery needs, manage competing priorities and ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.
You are committed to developing advocacy capability, supporting performance and driving consistent service excellence across the Criminal Law Division.

Hold Australian or NZ citizenship, Australian Permanent Residency

Be admitted or eligible for admission as a legal practitioner in NSW
Provide a current NSW Practising Certificate before you start work with us
Must hold valid NSW driver license
